MY KALEIDOSCOPES

Featured are my individualized one-of-a kind kaleidoscopes. My customers select their desired colors.

I make them because I enjoy the creative process. It has never been my intention to make them in large numbers or to do this as a major commercial activity. The Kaleidoscopes have all the colors of the rainbow and can be used for Color Therapy. You would turn the wheel to the color you want to focus on and as you look at it you absorb the color through your eyes. The stones used in the kaleidoscope also provide their energy and vibration as you handle it or even have it placed near you. Your kaleidoscope can be used just for the beauty of the piece, as a conversation piece or as a healing tool.

Over the years numerous people have asked me to create a customized and individualized kaleidoscope for themselves, a friend or a family member for a special gift or occasion. For example, my kaleidoscopes have been made as gifts for Weddings, Wedding Anniversaries, Birthdays, Christmas, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, and other special occassions.

My Kaleidoscopes have sold in galleries in New York, Caracas, London, (Fortnum & Mason) and Tampa for over $500. People have given them as gifts all over the world - Germany, Switzerland, Italy, France, Chile, Venezuela, India, England, USA, and various other coutries. Here is a sample of what owners have said about them: "Great conversation piece," "Beautiful jeweled art piece," "Very rococo," "As beautiful on the outside as on the inside," "I feel the energy of the colors," and "It's like entering another world." A mother who received one as a gift from her daughter said: "The Kaleidoscope meant so much to me and helped me realize how much my daughter loved me and wanted to share something so beautiful."

I make these kaleidoscopes with love and each one is a signed, unique work of art. They are made one at a time from very colorful, semi-precious stones, and stained glass. The body is triangular and the wheel rotates and provides an infinity of spectacular multicolored views. The kaleidoscope is 2 1/2 inches wide, 11 inches long and 3 1/2 inches high. It has legs in front to raise the wheel slightly off the surface.  Each one comes with a Certificate of Authenticity, a Guide for Cleaning and Care, and a list of stones used and their meanings.

Typically, and depending on my schedule, it can take from up to 6 weeks from our initial agreement until delivery. Because each kaleidoscope is made-to-order, a deposit of 50% is required, with the balance due at delivery. The price can range from $350 to $500 depending on the materials used, stones selected and the amount of detailed work involved.

I have enclosed several samples so you can see the variety of themes, and colors.  Look at these samples and then call me at (727) 642-1950 to discuss your unique and specific needs.
